My Process

It all began with an idea: I wanted to transform reading into something more.

Inspired by the Ouija Board, I discovered a way to tell a different story by using my name as a soundscape to receive messages.

By identifying patterns of “to,” “by,” and “be,” I could communicate with spirit.

Receiving messages is a creative process, involving sequences of rhymes, soliloquies, and suggestive staircases of text. These messages will become visible through finding the placement of “Toby.”

Whoever you are, the plot will change, and the way you tell your story using this technique can make all the difference in your experience.
